I'd just like to know which is your fave. Brian May has his red special, nuno has his battered alder bodied N4. Stever Morse has his number 1. And from what I gather even John Petrucci who must have, well, I wouldn't be surprised if he has over 100 different guitars, has a main one in mystic dream. So which 1 is the one that you always go for. What do you have as well and why do you have your favourite. what is it about your number 1 that the others couldn't replace. Which is your favourite child? heehee :D

My AL too is becoming my fav.
My Custom Tele was a hard act to follow but I reach for the AL all the time now.
The Les PAul never gets a look in nowadaze - action too low, guitar too heavy but I can't get rid of it. - too many memories and it will be passed down to my kids.
My Archtop is for when I want to play a bit of swing.

So it's the ALBERT !!!

Then you shall be made to pay!:p I actually meant to multi guitar owners in general. Im just curious. I know there are a few here with lots of balls and other models. But where is the ghost in the machine? I want to know what guitars people have that give them that something else. Even if they dont know why or what it is.

Well, i have a Luke and a Silo Special, and the Luke was my fav for ages, but i'm tellin ya the Silo is just a great axe, the pickups annoyed me when i first got it, but now i can get the most superb strat sounds out of it, so vintage, i dont even use the humbucker that much now. And the neck, WOAH! Just magic, total magic.

This is kind of a hard one for me....I have several Pets and several bongos.

Ok...the Rad Red Pet is my favorite...due to the piezo.....but my Pearl Redburst is the one I really have become attached to....after the damage done to her, got Dr. Jongitarz to fix it, and she is just meant for war!

My bongos...easily my Stealth. I use it in my band and it flat out kills.

Notice he mentioned all those "pets", but said nothing about the where-abouts of his "former" K-9 companion?

That poor poor doggie..............:(

My JP6 is by far my fav., even though right now I am playing the y2d more often.

+1

I play my Y2D regularly, but my JP6 is the go-to guitar. It's like an extension of my own being. I can play it for hours upon hours with no fatigue.. and I'm a guy who has tendonitis in my fretting hand. I can pick with a lot more control on the JP due to the body contours. And that JP tremolo is just pure genius. I have to tune my Floyd-equipped guitars more often than my JP!

So, yeah.. I love my JP6 above all others.

My black Silo is my main axe for years, now. It has a maple fingerboard, hard tail, GraphTech saddles, ToneZone at the bridge, Fast Track I at the neck, mid pickup is stock. I've changed the wiring: #2 is mid pickup + bridge coil ToneZone, which gives me more "Strat-quack". And I've bypassed the Tonepot. A few weaks ago I bought me a Fender USA Strat, hard tail as well (SHOOT ME!! :D ).

Well, that poor doggie has gone to the great fire hydrant in the sky....:(

I actually loved that little bastid, even though he did break one of my JP's......

We have a new dog.....super cool and I got him to stay out of my guitar room...makes him a smart dog in my book!
