My Silo Special is a dream to hold and is a truly stunning instrument. I sit here with it on the stand next to me, and some times I find myself just staring at it. The Blue Pearl is such an awesome color, and crikey does this thing play itself. The Middle position has also changed the way I PLAY the guitar. I started playing stuff I had never really played before, and it has changed me as an Artist all together. I attribute who I am as a Musician today to the inspiration I have received from this guitar!
I'm currently employed by a Music Man retailer here in San Diego(small time, not GC) and when this guitar came through the back door, I just had to have it! The problem is, it's not just this ball that I love, it's ALL of them that come through! When we shut the doors today, I plugged an au natural Axis into a Boogie Stiletto and opened her up. I was in heaven. Then I go home to my loving Silo and I'm in something above heaven. Thank you guys!
Now for the forum members: I have a fetish for the Morse. When i first joined, I was dead set on getting a Morse, but then the Silo Spec came in and just took me by suprise. Thing is that now I'm at the point where I have enough to get a new ball, and I'm really hankering for that Morse. Thing is that I can only really find a few pics of it. I really wanna see this thing in Blue Pearl with Abalone guard(to match my Silo Spec), but all I've seen is White, Black, Blueburst, and that single red one with tortoise guard. So please, someone tickle me with something interesting in the Morse Persuasion!
