Question To roasted owners: Now that roasted maple have been around for a while...

Nope, like it as it is. I personally like the variation from the unfinished necks. On my AL HH it just feels right.

Agree!!! Wasn't sure I was going to like it, but I really do. Hopefully it'll be an option in the future.

I was wondering the same thing, I'm tempted to sand the lacquer off of mine, I hate it, well not that much, but definitely like the unfinished feel a whole lot more. would it be safe to do it and treat it with oil/wax after?

I would think you'd wanna check with CS, I have a feeling that the sealing is essential for the roasted necks for some reason. Maybe because the week is heated/treated already. just a thought.
