To The Exclusive LUKE w/Piezo Club Members

To you LUKE w/Piezo owners, do any of you notice a difference in the electric sound compared to Non-Piezo LUKES? I do, and I'm wondering if it is because the EMGs & Piezo share the same battery, or the very different saddles at the bridge...or maybe both? I'm hearing alot less mids in general...

Hey Doug,

Are we the only members?

Are you experiencing different tone between the 2 input jacks on your luke piezo for your magnetic pickups? Check that if you're running only one cord.

On my axis ss, I noticed a huge tonal difference that derek explained as a resister buffer issue some months back (wish I knew how to post a link).

As for the LUKE, I'll bring the piezo one (LUKE on steroids) to rehearsal next time and compare with the non piezo one.

Since I put the EMG's in my silo piezo I have been thinking the same thing. I'm considering running a seperate battery for the mags. For now I think I will just leave it alone.

Hey, Doug...RE magnetic pickups, What I meant was are there two different sounds to them (one using mono/piezo jack and another using the stereo jack instead)?

Or does it sound the same using either jack, just different from your other lukes?
