Hey Jack, you know how I feel, not that you've felt me up or anything. Here's looking to the wind at our backs for a while.

You did the right thing by walking away from it when you did, everybody knows that, so I would'nt sweat it...

We're at the end of a very trying few months for some of you and some of us, and there is something I've wanted to tell you but had to wait for things to be resolved, which I think they are....finally.

I divorced myself from the sales gig last fall, but I couldn't divorce myself - not really - from the people who trusted me enough to buy an instrument. I felt an obligation to you at the time, and it never stopped. When things went south, let me tell you, I felt plenty of guilt for having been involved. There was only so much I could do to make it right, but I did what I could and tried to be upfront and completely transparent with you guys.

Sometimes I didn't tell you the whole story, but not because I didn't want to. I also felt an obligation to someone else, but we're all clear now. And this ain't going to be negative to anybody, not now.

I thank you so much for hanging in there, for continuing to be my friend, all the phone calls and emails and PMs - let me promise you, you were never 'bothering' me, as I tried to make clear to those of you who thought you might be annoying me. Never. I wanted to talk to you guys.

Now that nearly everyone is taken care of, and anything left hanging should be cleared up off the forum, I just wanted to very belatedly tell you thanks from the bottom of my heart.

Now let's have a martini and play some Bongos, shall we?

Jack

It's Just sad how at one time our Grandparents ruled this country with just a handshake
and Now we can't trust anyone for honesty and to do the right thing, there's not much pride in this country anymore, sad but it's reality.

New and fresh here, but from what I see of your actions and how much you take the time to apologize and to take care of everyone here says enough about your character and your kindness.

Actions will always speak louder than words, and yours are screaming with the right stuff.

I still consider my self "wet behind the ears" on this forum having joined it a year or so ago.
I have loved coming to this forum and hearing the banter then as I contributed more to the forum, being involved in the banter myself.

This sad story has been so gut wrenching to read about and I have truly felt for all those concerned and I hope that all "bridges have not been burnt".
Live is so short and boy do I realize that after my accident last year.

I hope things work out for everybody in this - but it will take considerable effort by some.

Hey lets get the bass forum and guitar forum combined and have one big forum???

Commendable words Bovine - commendable words indeed.

I'm glad to have had the opportunity to shake your hand, Jack. And, I'm glad I've had the opportunity to watch you interact with 100 other people, too.

It was obvious from your face at the time that you knew just exactly how lucky you were. You can't fake that. And, you obviously didn't take any of it for granted.

Anyone who refers to you as 'Blow Hard' is simply misinterpreting the flow of air--it's just that they suck.

No idea at all what anyone is talking about here, but you are apparently doing something right, Jack.

You have the love and support of lots of people, many of whom you have never met. In this life, this may be all that matters.

(Photographic proof....that if you hang out with Jack at any time, he may force you to get drunk)
