Seriously, it bums me out to no end that things turned out the way they did all around, but if I've learned nothing else in my life so far it's that things change, and the best you can do is just roll with it.

I've got a nice blue Bongo to show for it all, so isn't that worth it in the end?

No one could be more disappointed than am I, but it's true - nothing remains static.

With one notable exception, the Dargie Delight customers have received their instruments. The notable exception is also a very formidable person and will deal with the lack of delivery - of that, I am certain.

There were so many lessons learned during this process. Some of those lessons were ugly, but I'm over it. Now I can look back and think more about the friends I've made rather than the one or two I've lost. The balance is on my side, to be sure. If I acted honorably, if I was truthful, if I did the best I could, then I hope the friends I lost can look back and say the same.

If so, if not, either way, we go on.

I still marvel at how cool the Dargie Delight instruments are and how lucky we were to have the opportunity to get in on them. Every year, we'll have LEs to drool over, the BFRs to dream about, the Anniversary models to make us wonder how they can possibly top the last one, but the Martini Olive Green finish with the Dargie line art, the martini glass inlays - those are Forum Instruments!

Sure, the Big Retailers (hi Marty) got some and that's good! Nothing wrong there, they helped make the concept break even, at least, and maybe even dispelled, somewhat, the Conventional Wisdom about green basses.

But that run of Dargie Delights - that was ours.

It's hard to dwell on the negatives whenever I can look right over there and see my Dargie Delight SR5 HH.

So you won't see me bitching and griping here about the end result of the business relationship, now that it's over. Every time I think I might complain, I'll go look at some photos of you guys with your Dargies.

I'm going to find some time to sit down with a martini and answer some of these comments, and then I'll lock this and wrap it up. It wasn't meant to be a Lord Bongo Lovefest, I swear, but I'd be lying if I said you guys didn't make me feel one hell of a lot better.

In my mind, I'm hugging you all.

Except Sterling. Him, well, I'm grabbing his ass. In my MIND, I mean.

Ball Family Reserve, such as the one on eBay right now, the one signed by Tony Levin. VERY cool concept. Do a search on "Ball Family Reserve" and you'll find a few threads with the how, why, etcetera.

Even Though I was on the other side of the world and wasn't involved with the mess, I concur with the above quote from Jack
So lets all raise our glasses to the Dargies and EB for making them happen!!!
