Hi guys!!

I still can't believe it.....

Today Marcus Miller was in the centre of london for a show. I said to myself this morning, 'let's take the mighty sterling with me, it might get signed'.

Anyway. The show started(it was packed, maybe 1000 people), and when he finished, Marcus asked 'OK, which one of you has his bass with him'? I raised my hnd together with some other guys.....

So we lined up next to the stage. It is important to note the other three guys had fender, warwick and another acoustic bass. I was the only one with a MusicMan!!

Also I still haven't bought a new set of strings so my Sterling had ONLY THREE strings(E,A,D!!!)!! The first guy was a bit nervous, he played and then the tech told me to get up on the stage!!!

I got up and Marcus saw that I had a three string and said 'Wow! A three string bass? Are you sure you wanna play'?

I was so excited and I said 'Yeah! Of course man!'

So I started a funk rythym(from the song Mr Bassman from the Fatback Band) and when he stopped playing so that I would play a solo, I started playing some REALLY funky slapping and everyone in the crowd was clapping etc so I started dancing and playing with my bass!!! I felt like I was in heaven!!!

When I finished and got off the stage everyone was like 'wow, that was awesome!!', 'wow and in only three strings!!' etc. I also met the editor of the bass guitar magazine who enjoyed my playing!! Needless to say how happy I am!!!

ALso the couple of guys that were about to play after me, didn't dare to play much slapping after what they heard!!! :D

Also when I finished and before I got of the stage, Marcus said 'Aha, a MusicMan!!'

Wow!! WOOO HOO!!!!!!!!

I also got my sterling pickguard signed!!!

But because all of these sound too good to be true, I have the pictures to prove what I say!!! I will register to photobucket and I'll post them!!!

Man....that is too cool. It is great knowing you threw down and had the crowd in your hands. That is the ultimate compliment.

great moment but please a profesional bassist never keeps his bass with out a string, but again CONGRATULATIONS man
