Tone test

Here's something to enjoy while waiting for BP to drop the curtain, its a sound test of my marshall class5 dimed, paired with my ax40. Keep in mind, there is no boost, no pedal or overdrive of any kind, just reverb and delay, i was stunned at how authentically marshall plexi this amp got when on 10! Enjoy! I start with a little VH medley and go into some original material, but my focus was to get that original brown sound VH1 tone with the actual pure power tube distortion.

There is train of thought that says that power amp distortion is actually the 12AX7 phase inverter and not actually the power tubes...

...no matter what it is, it sure is fun!
