Mine would be:

1) Seeing Jack (bovinehost) get that sweet custom red-flamed Bongo! Truly a sexy instrument.

2) Psycho Ward's acapella beer bottle solo.

3) BP playing a Bongo flat on the floor piano-style and his rampant lunacy in general. It's much akin to one of those crazy rubber bouncy balls that just goes everywhere uncontrollably. ;)

4) All the great people I've gotten to chat with and have met thus far.

Really looking forward to tomorrow, g'night! ;)

I concur...

Props to all who got up and played - especially that Tommy dude from Delaware - awesome... ;)

And special props to that crew who butchered "Tush" to close the show right around midnight - there was a singer/bass-player, two guitars, a chick-drummer, and two female back-up singers/dancers that served as "eye-candy" for the crowd. A crowd that genuinely appeared to enjoy the performance - go figure! :p

Oh, I'm sure Jack will be more than happy to post some pics when he returns :D

Today's factory tour / R&D discussion & artist roundtable were all awesome. It was a veeryyy "hands on" tour, where you were pretty much free to wander at will and talk to the people making the basses (at least on the 2nd tour, which BP hosted, and then got a call that he had to take and drifted away about halfway through.)

Got to see prototypes, one-offs, the burned Levin 3string bass, plus lots of one of a kind / once in a lifetime kind of things. I mean, what other company would let anyone from the outside even see one of their prototypes? The guys at EB actually passed them around so we could hold/play them.

They had the whole NAMM setup there, with all the new models that you could take down, plug in to a Korg PX3 and jam away with headphones at 16 or so stations.

Looking forward to tonight's concert. Having a blast!

Fuzzy... I didn't "drift off" I got an emergency call. The lead singer cancelled. I have $46,000.00 in production costs for tonight. Like your last post it seems that you want to perpetuate a stereotype that is unfair. Just as someone posting a misunderstanding you have on the internet without talking to them first is unfair. The way you phrase it makes it sound like I was innattentive . Was there a problem with your tour? Did I not give you guys all I had today?

I have a had a great time whilst spending hundreds of hours of manpower and cash and really resent the implication that Im just sort of floating around.

Top Four...

1: Dinner at the Country Club, meeting Forumites...and the jam!

2: Watching BP unplug Luke's mikes (one-by-one) during L's Profanity Award acceptance speech!

...tied with...

Jack's low-key second announcer bit; each one followed BP's more-animated award announcement!

Seem to remember one Forumite award being tossed out the open back door (shattering glass affect of award hitting ground) when it turned out the Forumite was a no-show.:D

Special Mention: The first Forum Award of the afternoon was the presenting of a new Custom Flamed Green HH Bongo to Jack (Bovinehost) for his contributions to the Forum. The look on Jack's face was priceless!

3: Factory Tour/lunch with new (prototype) basses and guitars displayed outside for hands-on enjoyment!

4: Hogging the Buttercream HH Bongo w/Rosewood neck/fretboard for the latter half of the Sterling/Dudley discussion! Yeah, I'm a Bongo convert!

BP, I in no way meant to put forth the notion that it was something unimportant that pulled you away from our tour. The tour was awesome, and I actually believe we probably got the best of the three tours, after talking to others. And I believe it's because you gave us the tour that made it that way, giving us a perspective that no one else could have.

My apologies if my post came across as disappointed or that you didn't give every goddamn ounce of yourself for the entire weekend. You obviously poured everything you had into these events, and you have an amazing company and an even more amazing staff.

What you did for us is unimagineable, and I for one want to get down on my knees and thank you for all you did for all of us this weekend. It's a time I will never forget, and I'm sure no one else will either.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Man, that all sounds even better than I imagined. Too bad I couldn't convince my wife that we needed to spend out first anniversary (which is today) flying back from SLO. :)

As others have said, WE NEED PICS!

Sure wish I could have been there to experience the festivities and good times.
Guess I'll have to hope for another one sometime.

Good looks and long fingers aside, the womenfolk of EBMM are one amazing group.

Blair (that orange sticker on my badge worked wonders Saturday night), Aziah (yes, she's a bassist) and Beth.

Beth, ain't no words. I suspected we would end up friends, but I'm completely in love with you, and I don't mean anything funny, you perverts, so shut up. Beth took care of me when I didn't even know I needed it.

But let's not talk about the coffee incident, okay?

Not sure how this was interpreted, but it was meant to be sarcastically silly...

For the record, I was the lead butcher, doing my best to carry a tune!

It was lot's of fun! And yes, Blair, I knew you could play! :D
