Why list songs when you can list albums!!!???!!!

Some of the greatest albums of all time came out in the eighties... and albums were considered successful when every track on them was solid!

Off the top of my head...

SRV...Texas Flood
SRV...In Step
AC/DC...Back in Black
Van Halen...Fair Warning
Van Halen...1984
Judas Priest...Screaming for Vengeance
April Wine...Nature of the Beast
Rush...Moving Pictures
Ozzy...Blizzard of Oz
Ozzy...Diary of a Madman
Ozzy...Speak of the Devil
Tesla...Mechanical Resonance
Tesla...The Great Radio Controversy
U2...Joshua Tree
Whitesnake...Whitesnake
Guns ‘N Roses...Appetite for Destruction
Metallica...Ride The Lightning
Metallica...Master of Puppets
Skid Row...Skid Row
The Power Station...The Power Station
Shooting Star...Hang On For Your Life

Can you think of single track that sucked on any of these...???!!! Ah, the good old days of 70's and 80's AOR!!!

Wow, so many albums from so many genres to choose from. At the top is Rush, but there's a few surprises in there...

Rush - take your pick...
Iron Maiden - so many... 2 Minutes To Midnight, Number of the Beast, Wasted Years, etc, etc
Queensryche - anything from Operation:Mindcrime
Badlands - Winter's Call
Stone Fury - Life Is Too Lonely (anyone remember this band?)
Berlin - The Metro
Brian Adams - Cuts Like A Knife
John Cougar Mellancamp - Authority Song
Robert Plant - anything with Robbie Blunt
Don Henley - Boys Of Summer
Motorhead - Ace Of Spades
Night Ranger - You Can Still Rock In America
King's X - Pleiades
Heart - Bebe Le Strange (most of their 80's stuff was too polished)
Montrose - Bad Motor Scooter, Rock Candy
Ozzy - Crazy Train (live w/RR)
Quiet Riot - Metal Health
REM - Finest Worksong
Scorpions - Rock You Like A Hurricane, The Zoo
Oingo Boingo - Dead Man's Party
The Smiths - Shoplifters of the World Unite, How Soon Is Now

There are soooo many good songs...

The one that sticks out in my mind is
Goldilox by King's X (Out of the Silent Planet)

I completely forgot about A Momentary Lapse Of Reason. A memorable show for me so deserves a mention. I like Dogs Of War, On The Turning Away, and Learning To Fly.
