Torted my Sterling

Yeah. I got the pickguard used from a TalkBass member.

I dont have a thumbrest for the bass. Floating thumb is best!!

Tort on natural is hot. I noticed the holes for the thumbrest right away too. I put one on my Sterling 4 a few months ago and I like it better actually. I had the repair guy shave the thing down so it's the same height as the pup. I usually play a 5 string, so the B string is my thumbrest, but on a single H bass, I needed the thumbrest. My thumb won't float - needs an anchor. Just my $0.02.

Natural is about the only colour on which I like tort... it looks so "natural".
