WoW !!!!! Hydra + Drag + Kingdom + Isolation feel good to me. Pity they left out Endless (was it a medley w/ Isolation on last tour?).
I'm going to see the guyz in Turin end of month.

For Lucious: tell me if will it possible to have my Luke signed by you after the show, man......:D Btw.... you rock, have been, are, and still be my inspiration.

Yes on the previous Tour it was kind of meddley of both songs a real great moment !

For Lucious 2, if we could do the same in Paris this would be GREAT :D (though I still haven't got my DD Luke yet but even a guitar pick could make it ;) )!

If the Bristol gig was anything like the Dubai gig, you would have had a great night!!!

Saw Toto only once before.....Brixton Academy, Sept 1992 (first tour with Simon Phillips).....Still awesome today! Can't wait to catch them again.

Here's a pic before they left the stage in Dubai last Friday.

Just saw these additions Phrat. Newcastle was similarly awesome. The blue BFR was pulled out for Africa again, but the Dargie was used on Falling In Between and King Of the World. It looked stunning under the stage lights as well! He also used a standard Radience Red (non matching headstock) for a few songs as well.

As for set list, as far as my memory can piece together:

Falling in between
King of the world
Pamela

Acoustic Medley
Bottom Of Your Soul
I'll be over you
Stop loving you (Tony Spinner on vocals and heavily reworked)
Cruel

Hold the line
Greg's Solo
Don't chain my heart
Caught in the balance
Rosanna (watch out for the false beginning!!!)
I'll supply the love
Isolation
Gift of faith
Kingdom of desire
Luke's Solo
Hydra
Simon's Solo
Gypsy train
Taint your world
Drag him to the roof

Encore:
Africa

A real rock biased set list and its going to make a fantastic DVD. And I don't guarantee any of that is in the right order!!!

Yeah that sounds about right

in terms of guitar action, for Bristol he started with the red BFR, then black sparkly, then the one I am not sure off which is the quilted top one that he used on the previous tour (with the red back) then back to the black sparkly, the red with the natural headstock then the blue BFR.

Saw the Dargie on the rack but it didnt make an appearance (see photos)

thanks guys

Hey.. had a blast in the UK. Nice to get a few shows under the belt. Oh yeah, that was a guy in the audience holding his had up in front of the "boys". hahaha
My wife buys ALL my clothes by the way and still photo's always have a way of making me look like douch bag. hahahaha
I love ALL my guitars and tried to show all of the new ones off. My old black sparkle is a fave as it is seasoned and has alot of sweat in it but the new ones will get there love as well. Such awesome pieces of art and they ALL feel so good to play.
Thanks for the kind words. Getting good reviews, which is scary as we always get raked thru the coals. After all these years nice to get a little love. haha
Sklar is kicking our ass and its amazing he stepped in with little rehearsal and has done a spot on job. Now all I gotta do is get him a Bongo.
I really do appreciate the support from you guys. We aint some "hip band" but we give all we got and thanks to you all I still have a job.
Hope to meet you guys out there somewhere as we will be touring all year everywhere.
Yer pal

Manchester Gig

Wow!

It was fantastic..... Best gig I've been to in a long time.

I took some of the guys in our band and they loved it as well, they only knew the more popular songs, but were completely blown away by the musicianship on display.

(I have to make a confession, when Lucious asked if there were any musicians in the audience, I put my hand up. Still, no-one has heard me play, so I can pretend :D )

Really enjoyed seeing the Dargie, I regret not ordering one now, but there you go. We got to see the proto BFR as well, which looked really cool.

I hung around afterwards and managed to get a sig on the programme and I also got my photo taken (ok, I'm 33 before anyone asks:D ). It was really cool meeting such a great guy and he seemed to really enjoy meeting everyone who'd waited in the (as per usual) cold. Cheers for that Lucious.

I was watching the rig being loaded afterwards (I do sound as a hobby, so I like looking at stuff like that). It was cool seeing all of the flight cases coming out with the cabs and racks. When I saw the guitar flight case, I thought to myself, "well, I'm sure he doesn't need all of those BFR's". Not sure I'd have made it far though. :D

Anyway, thanks for such an excellent show, I just need to find out how to get this photo off my phone now.

I'd hav eloved to meet Luscious after the show, but I don't think he'd have thanked me as I have a sore throat and have partially lost my voice! I think he'd send out search parties to hunt me down if he caught the same bug!!!! Maybe next year!
