Thank you Jack! That was awesome! (If you haven't already, check out the "Jake E Lee Shreds" parody video. One of my favorites :)

That's hilarious. Love the random misfit bass pops that're about 10dB louder than everything else.

HaHaHa. That was really funny! :D

Simon is really hitting that kit as well btw!

Funny thing is. You have to be a reasonably good guitar player to fake it mess it up like that.

Real question is though: Is that a black sparkle?! ;)

I love these parodies! The guy doing these has made me laugh out loud many times. I had not seen this Toto one so thanks Jack for posting it. Made my laugh for the day!

Funny stuff!

Mrs.sitonmybass and I own two live Toto DVD's; this one ("25th Anniversary Live In Amsterdam") and "Falling In Between" which features the great Lee Sklar filling in for Mike Porcaro.
The Mrs. is constantly blown away by their live version of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" (as am I.) Luke's guitar solo in this song is by far one of the most incredible live guitar solos I have ever heard.

Our local concert promoter told us we may be doing a show as Bobby Kimball's (Toto's vocalist) back-up band in the near future. This show may include Mike Reno (Loverboy) and Jimi Jamison (Survivor) both of which we've backed up before plus Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow, Yngwie Malmsteen) and Mickey Thomas (Jefferson Starship.)

Joe Lynn Turner is a real nice guy; the Mrs. had arranged for him to call me on my 50th Birthday to wish me "Happy Birthday" and he did!

I hope we get to do that gig; I'll keep everyone posted.

I like how Luke at one point is concentrating so hard on his solo that he looses his balance, about 4:48 in this version of the vid.
I didn't know that Count Dracula had a version of this song.

Luke's "While My Guitar..." is my favorite version.
