The Custom Shop thing is absolute trash, since EB never offered Custom Shop service, so far as I know. Nice color, but you could almost buy two used Stingrays for the price of that one.

I like the color, though.

"I don't know what to say about this bass it is great you can see from the pictures that it is built much nicer then the regular Music Man Basses , It was Custom Shoped Not for me But for the Person That owned it befor me ,,,'

If it were mine, I'd know what to say about it - or at least I'd find out. Nor can I see that from the photos that it's anything other than a regular Music Man bass, actually. And I want to know what the verb 'to shope' means.

"... I got this guitar from a shop in Toronto where they sell vintage Guitars ( Capcel Music)and payed alot more that what I am asking for this Bass.'

If that is true, then I would say they saw this boy coming from a long way off.

'It has a stright neck ,when I was not playing it I would lossen the strings so it would not warp."

Stright? Jeez, he types with an Aussie accent. Additionally, I would like to know more about the verb, 'to lossen'.

Where do people get these crazy ideas? "Gee, when I'm not playing it, I should "lossen" the strings." A terrible, terrible idea. That alone - not to mention the price, which is twice what it should be - would put me off this instrument, as nice as it looks.

the is lossen the opposite of gainen?

Capsule Music is one of the websites I check frequently for EBMM.

I haven't seen this bass on there in the last 2 years and I don't recall any basses other than a preEB MM priced this high in the Toronto area.

"Trans White" is a great finish.

But there's nothing custom about it.

Introduced in 1992 (and continued to circa 1994) as an optional premium finish.

For some reason, it appears to be rare (BP might chime in here).

IMO, the finish is more like a Trans Mushroom as opposed to "Trans White".

A Tort pg seems to make the Mushroom appear more pinkish.

A Matt Black pg gives the Mushroom a more over all Grey/Black hue.

No, no. He's talking about Capcel Music. Completely different place.

Ahem.

It's a nice finish but to me it always kinda looks like the paint was thinned down too much. It really depends on what kind of wood grain is on the body for me and if the grain pattern is really nice then I think to myself...man, if that was natural it'd be killer.
