It would be great if she would refund you the amount that a new neck would cost.

At least she's working with you. Alot of sellers would hold firm to the "sold as is" bit and not let go.

Good luck, and hopefully, it will all get resolved.

Actually I have some guitars in worst conditions than a "simple" crack on the neck.

Sorry to hear about your bad luck.

I think it's interesting that the seller goes through all the trouble to put the guitar against what appears to be a cloth backdrop, (hinting that they know what they're doing), but then takes a pic of the headstock that's crooked, out of focus, and also leaves the incriminating portion of the headstock out of the pic. Hmmm...

I hope the seller makes it right. If not, I would absolutely get Paypal to dispute the payment.

Good luck!

I doubt this. Most likely explanation is that the digital camera stinks at closeups like 90% of them do ( I know mine does)

I would send her the EB quote and then settle for 300$ credit. Axis guitars are pretty hard to find especially a purple one. Have EB put a new neck on for you.

Here is an update on my cracked neck. The seller from e-bay refunded me most of the money from my purchase, and now the guitar is at Music Man getting a new neck. I just can't wait to get that thing back.

"Good news! Will the replacement have the matching headstock?"

Only if it had one to start with...

You can't change any features on a repair/replace from the factory.
