Transparent Black Stingray...ever been one?

If done right, trans. black can look great. But I have seen some other brands that the color looked almost brown or gray and looked like crap. Maybe it was the wood they used or something.

Either way, I have no doubt MM will do it right. I expect nothing less.

No, Mark, I'm not. I have the pleasure and honor of having helped to design the beast (the color is my contribution), and that knowledge will have to do. The money isn't available right now and the tone is well covered by another one or two of its kind.
