Treating the jp neck

Anyone know if the 'gun oil'(?) neck finish on the Petrucci axe needs maintenance or treating? Mine was wiped down with a damp cloth after a friend who had the crud handled it and now it does not have the same feel.

hi guys, im from singapore and Tru Oil is not really easily accessible here, is there anything else that can be used for neck maintenance?
tried to buy tru oil online, it says it cant be shipped to singapore coz of product restrictions.. lol so i dunno what else to use..

Wonder wipes have an "orange" smell to them.
Tru oil smells completely different - although they both give good results.
