Hi all,

Just purchased a new EBMM JP6 last month and I was wondering if there is any way to tighten the tension on the trem arm? Great guitar by the way. It's my first EBMM guitar and it definitely won't be my last. :D

Thanks,

Welcome! Gently push down on the trem bar to detune the strings down in pitch and so that the trem pulls slowly outward from the cavity. Look down into the cavity on the trem block (side facing away from the pickups, of course) and you'll see a small, slightly recessed small alan key bolt. I think it is a metric #1, maybe #2? Either way, tightening this bolt will tighten the grip on the trem bar, and loosening will loosen. Don't go too far either way!

There is a diagram here somewhere about it. Do a search and see if you can find it -- this topic has been covered many times.
