Tried out a bongo 6 at Guitar Center

I can't wait to try any Bongo! After living in Southern Cali most of my life and making
trips to GC in North Hollywood years ago, i was a bit dissappointed when i went to the new GC in Reno that is actually a 1 hour drive for me, it's gotta be easily 1/6th the size and they do not carry a big selection of EBMM's the last time i was in there.
Someday i will have one in my hands.

Dude just take the plunge and get one from an online retailer. You will not be disappointed.

GC's never have anything for me to check out anymore. If they DO happen to have something that strikes my curiosity, it's poorly set up, or 30' up on the wall.

The local one here in denver has changed. Lots of choices and down low. Could use some bongos though!

Went down to GC in Reno again, and they moved the FEW EBMM's from a center post
to high up on the wall, and of course still no Bongo in sight, so i asked one of the guys
standing at the front door about a EBMM Bongo he looked dumbfounded and turned
over to another associate who was too busy playing guitar alone in the center of the room up front and said "We could probably order you one"
It's no wonder why i don't go here to often. So i grabbed a strap,payed and left.
Looks like sometime i will have to drive another couple of hours to find another store
JUST to try out a Bongo!

I might have to take a drive up there tomorrow. I've never seen a Bongo at any GC let alone one around here. I'd just like to see what the Bongo 6 feels like in my hands. I'm currently buying a Dargie Bongo fretless HS from Matt (Manfloosy), so I don't think the 6-er will be coming home with me. I'd just take it for a test drive for fun.

Then again, these damn Bongos are addictive...
