Help! trimmer on silo specilal volume

Hello, last week i bought a silo special...
There's a trimmer on the bottom of volume pot, what does it do?

A trimmer? Have a picture of what you're referring to?

Beej - methinks he is refering to the silent circuit and has mistaken it for the volume pot...

I could be entirely wrong though.....

Ah, yes, good catch.

Mayo- you mean the little black circular thing on the underside of the pick guard (like in the bottom left of this picture)?

If so, that is the "Silent Circuit". It's there to reduce hum from the single coils. It's been set from the factory, but can be adjusted to remove as much hum as possible.
