All in the name of good fun, I offer up a trivia question with prizes involved!

So while at the Texas GTG last weekend, I was lucky enough to have acquired a nice Music Man ball cap and some strings... but due to two unfortunate circumstances, 1: I have an enormous noggin, and 2: I don't wear caps, see reason #1, I want to pass on my luck to some other knucklehead.

Okay, without cheating (you googling bastards...) name the Los Angeles television call letters where Ernie Ball worked as a young man. Hint, its a part of the Tribune group and a sister station to mine here in Dallas.

Winner gets the cap, a set of Regular Slinkys, and some stickers!

Easy, wasn't it? :D

Just PM me your addy and they'll be on your way!

Process of elimination, it was. And you're talking about the old stations.

2, 4, and 7 are the majors - CBS, NBC, ABC; I knew 9 (KCAL) was never Tribune owned and maybe not old enough. 13 is, well, 13. 11 (KTTV) is old enough, but is another one that I know wasn't Tribune owned. So that leaves the station with arguably the richest history in LA.

Now I can say that I was vicariously in beautiful downtown Texas!

Thanks! PM shortly.
