It seemed a shame to waste the morning sun, so here are a few photos showing off the colour and that 'sucked sweet' shape.

That is not a scratch in the first photo but a reflection of the vibrato arm. I had to look twice.

Congrats, looks awesome, and I'm sure the RW and EMG combo is very sweet.

How do you like the emg-x pickups?

They sound really nice, but I'm not sure how to describe the tone yet. I need to stop taking pictures and looking at it and actually sit down and play it! :) Its hard to pinpoint what tonal effect the different options on this guitar make; RW neck, pickups, body wood etc. I think its brighter, and natural sounding. It lends itself to mid/ lower gain tones and sustains very well, whereas the other ones I have absolutely nail higher gains. Not that this one doesn't do this too. It certainly has its own personality. Of course I've only tried it through my rack system which is all Boogie driven and which has a very definite tone going on, so tonight I aim to try it with the more 'organic' pedalboard and combo to see how it sounds with that combination. Off topic but, unfortunately I've just built a new pedalboard and I am awaiting my bro doing the final wiring later tonight so I have to be patient on that score. (Also need to finish a few trimming pieces too as you can see and fix pedals down straight so don't look too closely. Plus complete my eternal search for a Foxrox Paradox. Anyway you might be interested )

Anyway... back on topic - Think 'Brodys' off Lukes latest album and thats where I would pinpoint it tonality wise. Or should I say, it does that tone very well.

Very nice Luke!! Congrats! The colour really matches the rosewood (but what colour doesn't rosewood match with..).

So if you hit all those boosts at once, I'm pretty sure you'd deafen the entire neighbourhood :p

Beautiful guitar, lovely colour!
