I was just making an adjustment on an older (copy) non-EBMM instrument and wondered why everyone hasn't switched to the truss rod wheel method. Is it a EBMM owned design and would it have to be licensed for other manufacturers to use it?

In any case, it's a great feature!

I was just making a minor tweak to the relief of my Steve Morse neck at band practice tonight, thinking to myself "I love how easy this is."

I think Peavey uses a similar method on their USA guitars like the old Wolfgangs and the new HP series, but I'm starting to realize that there isn't much that EBMM does that Peavey doesn't try to emulate...

There are other builders using the wheel, so I don't think EB has a patent on it. My Lakland Decade has one, for example.

But I do agree, it's so far superior to the old allen head design.
