IIRC, there were some manufacturers out there before EBMM with the truss wheel thingy.

Is trussrod wheel patented so noone else can use it without EB permission:confused:
By the way I just bought an used white SR5 with birdseye neck and board at local music store at lunch break. The sales person said 1993 but according to serial# 52477 I think its 1991 model. It is in beautiful condition with some buckle mark but no paint chip or dings. I am at work now so I can't take the bass apart but I will do that later to find out the date of birth. I got it for $848 (tax included but traded Hartke 115 transporter cabinet) and that price is including newer MM case and a set of EB slinky so I think I got a pretty good deal!

Wheel Patent? Licensing?

Curious about this too... My cousin just got a new Parker Fly - it has a wheel!

What's the story!?
