I saw that one! It's a real beauty.

Dude - you have to wait until there is about 90 seconds left in the auction, put in your final bid and hope! Seriously though, a sparkle, I doubt it's going for less than $150.

I saw a nice-looking red sparkle Fuzz Factory. That was sweet. Too bad, all I feel I can buy right now is the SHO.

Get it! You won't regret it. I absolutely LOVE mine - I've said it before (and I'll say it again) - best pedal I've ever owned. Period.

its confusing when people call the SHO a fuzz pedal and some call it a clean boost i am not sure what it is xcept that i can hear that it really cleans up the clean channel and if you turn the crackel ok knob it will give you distortion......the one that impressed me the most was the BOX OF ROCK!!!! what a great pedal BUT i LOVE my "ZINKY TRUE GRIT" especially with my AL in the 4th posish

The SHO is not a fuzz or overdrive pedal. It's a clean boost that adds some thickness to your tone.

To the dude that's bidding...NEVER bid before the last minute. It's pointless and will drive the price up. You should save your coins and get a ZVex Box of Rock. It's a hotrodded marshall in a can coupled with a SHO. So you get a dope OD and the SHO in one box for not much more than what you'd pay on the bay for just an SHO. Also, if you must bid overbid because you end up paying what the next highest bid is. For instance if you bid $175 and bidder X bids $160 and the auction ends, you pay $160. Seriously tho, check out the Box of Rock. You can use each side of it independently...

HOLD ON EVERYONE! The reason the SHO cleans up the clean channel is because it has a 5 meg impedance buffer in the input (or called something like that - I'm not a big technical guy). I am doubtful that the Box Of Rock also has this in it. It does have the boosting feature of the SHO though in it's "boost" side. SO, if you want to use it like me, to get that nice sparkly clean sound - you better confirm that the BOR also has the impedance boost as well. (like I said - I'm doubtful that it does - but I've been very wrong before!)

Absolutely planning on it. Might get the Box of Rock too, but the next Z Vex pedal I will get is Fuzz Factory.

Yeah. I'm learning now not to bid until the last minute. I'm new at this. This is the first thing I'm trying to buy on EBay. I will definitely change my practices. Thanks, everyone, for your advice.

I never considered that the Box of Rock could operate as an OD and a SHO. I guess if I don't win this thing, I'll get that Box of Rock if it really has a SHO in it.

It even has the crackle ok knob....the od side will work better with a slighty hot amp, but each side isindependent of each other...

Rob....if you want a 5meg Clean boost

Go to the MIAudio.com

You'll see what I'm talking about there and it's only $99US.

I'd suggest keep watch at The Gear Page pedal emporiums for a SHO. There have been two or three up for sale there this week. All 3 were $130-5. One was spanking brand new looking.
