Tungsol 5881's? I just talked to Doug and I'm going to be dropping these in my amp here shortly...
I'm wanting to go with a rich creamy vintage Fender tone... and he said this will accomodate my needs perfectly...

I've got so many projects going on right now its disgusting. I'm building a custom shop S7r47 and i'm going to re-tube my amp and re-wire my pedal board with George L's... someone tell me it's worth it...

George L's cable is great, but I stopped using it as the ends kept coming loose. Much better with a hardwired cable IMOHO.

Could you use a locktite type thread lock to make it more reliable?

I bet it would do the trick... cause if applied correctly takes some serious torq to get it off...
