Could I also ask a little question... Why isn't rosewood used for all of the neck usually? Is it an expense issue or something?

yup,
bleeb it's hard to find enough good pieces of rosewood that size and it would cost a fortune.
Something like that , it was discussed earlier in one of the "post open house"-threads ;)
