Jeez guys...dont you get that when you get info here with pre production and protos that it can change especialy early on...THe martini glasses suck on the twelth fret and really look good at the first.. You are reminding me of norm....i need coffee

Thats why most companies keep the public out of the loop

But when it is the info that we use to base our order off of it does matter. I know everyone has their own opinion, and mine is that the inlays at the 12th would look better than a single one at the first.

Does this mean all basses will have an inlay at the first as well?

Really? we make a DD and you wouldnt have bought it if the inlay was on the first fret?

I don't care

If BP decided to inlay @ 2, 4, 6, 8 and 13 and so on it will still be perfect!

I'm sure they'd sell if BP decided to do inlays on 2, 5, 6, 9, 11, 19, 21.

The inlays/color/collectibility are part of it, but it's the quality craftsmanship and the knowledge that it will be freakin' awesome that makes you want to buy it

It Has Arrived !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guys.. the photo's do NOT do this gem justice!!!! This is THE coolest looking guitar!! I dont have the adjectives to describe what this looks like in the sun. The birdseye is even, dare I say.. nicer than the falmetop which is a whole other rave as its beauty is also one of a kind!
This just shows what most of us know..Music Man is THE finest guitar on the market in my opinion!! Certainly nothing new can compare. The feel of this thing..it is so solid and so comfortable and it plays and sounds amazing. I am playing the sh*t out these new guitars. You know how a new guitar inspires new ideas..
I will be playin these next weekend and will bring them to Texas so those of you that are gonna be there can dig it in the flesh. MASSIVE thanks to Biffer, Dargin himself, Dudley and Bri!
I am not worthy!!!
Thanks Sooooooo much!!

The inlay size doesn't matter to me at all, it's a great thing that you guys did and to reopen the orders for 1 more day was truly an act of kindness.

Scott, I agree 100%, the DD Luke is the best.

Luke, your inspirational playing is what makes people what to buy the Lukes. They are great guitars built for a wicked player. I'm looking forward to seeing them in Dallas.

BP, try one of those donut pillows that might help it go down quicker. :)

I, for one, really appreciate the effort you guys put into this, Sterling. I am very grateful and don't care if you put three 6-inch Coors Light beer can inlays on my bass.

I asked once,I am going to ask again. Does Luke ever sell one of his guitars? (need to know for savings purposes)

It didn't take much reading to know he was going to love tha guitar. It is however a bass players side of the forum. :)

Can we say root note here?
