fair enough, the colour will be effected, by flash cat 2lighting etc. so the actual pantone chart won't look 100% the same on the wood as it is on paper......

I'm just delighted I ordered one, it's more than just the finish dude, it the way it was marketed.
This is the most I've ever spent on a guitar and the fact I've forked out without seeing it, playing it (and even sniffing it) - and 256 others did the same is a mega tribute to EBMM - as far as I'm aware this is a guitar market 1st.

I reckon these guitars are gonna be super exlusive, shame on the first person to ebay 'em (unless it's me!)

settle down for the winter fellas, (and ladies) come February the sky will be green (shades to be confirmed!);)

I hope in reality they look like the Summer Namm show pics above that almost appear to have a gold flake sparkle. The more recent ones for Lucious doesn't look as bright or sparkly or something, but rather very dark.

Jeez you guys need to do some volunteer work until they come in. The Namm show was indoors in extreme colored artificial light The photos we took were in a photo booth that is calibrated to resemble the natural light. Just like radience red and Medallion gold the DD is an almost mist sparkle and really comes to life in the sun. The actual color is best in person...trust me.

I can't. I spend too much time on the forums.:D BP, we're just excited about our new balls.

Man, you guys are out in beautiful California. When pictures of completed guitars and protos are going to be taken, it should be outside in that incredible, natural sunlight to really show off those beautiful instruments. I can't remember what picture it was, but it was a guitar that the guys had made for you and the picture was taken outside. The natural light showed off the guitar beautifully.:D

Last night at House o Blues with the NEW guitars!

Cats and chicks..
Man... The new MM Lukes are STUNNING!!
I played last night with the best of the best and popped the cherry of my new guitars, Dargie DEE-LITE and THE flame top. I just played thru my sons marshall JCM 2000 , had a little delay in the loop, a tube screaner and the NEW EB wah wah and these guitars play themselves. Like an out of body experience, the Flame top SUNG...
Playing with Joe and Steve V and Scott henderson, Dweezil, Billy Sheehan, Johnny Hiland, Paul Gilbert Johnny A. ..**** ALL the cats.. I hate to sound biased BUT .. Music Man RULES! Such a FAT ass tone and I am SO honored to be a small part of this awesome family of greatness that I have no words. GOTTA check out the new EB wah wah. SO musical even when full out. It just doesnt get any better guys !!!
I am bringing the Flamer and the Dargie to Dallas and you can dig it yourself!
It was an honor to share the stage with the guys.. I am not worthy!
Makes a guy wanna practice! The greatest thing was the vibe. Everyone was just groovin on being there and everyone shined! Good night out. More to come soon. Dave Larue is awesime and had the Bongo hangin proud.
Should have been a Music Man ad! haha
Lots o love cats and chicks and keep a smile on your face and groove everyday!
I DO realize just how lucky I am to have this life..
Back to the woodshed. Had a serous guitar lesson last night!

O.K. This is why I love the guitars, the company, and this forum, so much. Us knuckleheads are posting questions, wondering how close the Luke pictures represent the actual color. So, Big Poppa responds and says to trust him. The guitars are going to look great. No problem, BP. I trust that the Dargies will look awesome. Now, who else makes a post to comment on how great his guitar is? None other than Mr. Lukather himself. The men have spoken. Nuff said.

Later,
Scott

I must have a list a page long of websites that sell knobs. I was looking for something different, but never got them.
