tuners rubbing

Is it normal for the tuning pegs to just slightly rub against the head stock? My hardly used stingray does this. thanks

I tryed but can't..need to get help., but the picture shows the g string tuner scraping the wood.

I don't think it's normal, the pegs shoud not foul at all with the headstock, unless one of them it's bent after a drop or a hit.

The tuner on mine seems to be installed so the wider part of the tuner is inward so it rubs.If that describes it?

None of the tuners on any of my 3 SR5's touch the headstock. It's really close in a couple of instances and it would only probably take a knock....

You guys are great especially with the clear pictures. Is it possible that with too many string winds (3) that it can distort the tuner? probably unlikely but ...

Mine are similar - close but no rub. I'm with Jack in thinking that one might have taken a hefty knock.

The tuner for my G was bent slightly when I bought it used, and when I fixed it I noticed that it was possible to seat the "clover" not quite perfectly... Maybe it was bent and then "fixed". (I hope that helped... And made sense)

This is not right and must be damage. Are they all like this? I don't believe ernieball would sell a bass with issues like this. That would be totally unaceptable
