I bought a sub recently and the tuners are really hard to turn and are completely dry, i don't want to end up mashing the gears up and replacing them so what's the best way to lubricate them?

WD40? engine oil? grease?

Do i need to take them apart or can i leave them on?

Cheers

i generally use silicon lubricant, just a little though or a tiny bit of Moly Grease...vasoline works good too...the tuners are metal so there is always an opportunity for rust
