Hey Guys…
Does anybody know how to get a tuning key (G-string) for a musicman stingray (not schaller)?
I have heard that it could take up until 3 montch?
Best regards

What happened to your one? Stingrays utilize schaller keys. The only difference is the MM logo on the key plate. If that plate is ok you may disassemble new schaller key and get what you need?

My BFR came to me with the damaged G tuning key. I found the solution to fix it with no spare parts but if I'd needed I'd go like that.

I have had to replace several myself and got them after talking to Customer Service. However, you are in Denmark, so not sure what to tell you other than what Freddels said. Call CS and they will get you sorted out.

If you're in Denmark, you can either call via Skype or send them an email. There's probably a distributor in your area too.

I happen to have a bent one, which still works fine....and i'm okay with that but.......a new one would be nice.......are we allowed to ask what they cost as a single unit in our awesome open forum?

if not........I guess maybe,I should call CS?

I've had bent and shimmy "elephant ear" on my G string tuning key. In case of 10 000 km between me and California I gave it to a friend of mine who works as metalworker. So he disassembled the key, made the "ear" plane, added some factory glue and returned it to the grooves inside the key. It works just as others. And still, If your key plate with MM logo is OK, you can replace the bent part with schaller and presto! - you have the same tuning key.
