ernie ball must have a deal with schaller or something, no way a company would order 2 sets for eveyguitar, unless the spare tuners over time worked out into even sets or something.......can't imagine how they would tho. i should have paid more attention it math class.

i'm actually left handed myself, but when i started playing *5 years ago* i couldn't afford a left handed starter guitar so i learned righty and have played that way ever since. to me it actually makes more sense for lefty's to play the right handed guitars and righty's should play the left handed guitars. because being a lefty my left hand is my dominate hand, so on a righty guitar all the fretting is done with the left hand.......... make sense to anyone or am i loosing it?

Just pulled out my trusty calculator. For every 9 right-handed guitars, EBMM would have to order 6 right hand sets and 3 left hand sets from Schaller.

If they wanted to account for left-handed models, and we assume that 1 out of 9 people are left-handed, then they would purchase 29 right-handed sets and 17 left-handed sets. This would yield 5 lefties and 41 righties, which is close to the correct right/leftie ratio.

This way, they wouldn't have any left over.

(Yes I have too much time on my hands today!)

I contacted Ernie Ball directly through email. You can purchase tuners from them for $12 a piece.

Get a hold of their customer service department.
