Hi Folks,
This is my first thread on this forum.
I have bought a second hand Petrucci model guitar and I am having a tuning problem when I use the tremolo bar. Especially low E and the G string goes sharp after the tremolo use. If I bend the strings later on they seem to turn to pitch.
I tried different tremolo spring setups (3-4-5 springs tried them all) and different string gauges (009 and 010's) and same problem happens again.
I am a little suspicious about the nut maybe the previous owner had screwed it up. It seems like low e string is touching the fingerboard between the tuners and the nut.
I am living in İstanbul / Turkey. Is there any way to have a replacement nut for my JP6.
Or is there another possible reason for the tuning problem.
Thanks in advance.
