do you have many strings break Jeff?

Unfortunately, too often to be comfortable with only one guitar live. I tend to break the low B string a lot. Even a brand new set.

Nah, nothing so simple as that. It did it equally as often on both my JP7's.

It's got more to do with my bowling-pin-sized forearms and my overzealous right hand when playing live.

Well, I know it's too late for me to change it.

My soloing/single-string technique is a lot more controlled and subtle/accurate. But rhythym playing is kind of anything goes.

My boss is a noob guitarist (though an enthusiastic one). I showed him the pictures of the BFR JP7 F1 and he just didn't get the pickups or the extra string.
