Hey Erin. Thanks for sharing your story. I was vaguely aware of some general health concerns you had but had no idea of the extent of it.

This is just another example that demonstrates how BP, the EBMM crew and the members of this forum are truly amazing people. Wow.

I definitely wish you and your loved one all the best in your fight!! Keep up the positive spirits!!

I used to say at shows that I had a hopeless addiction to chemotherapy. I'm glad to say that my addictions now are my wife, and my Ernie Ball Music Man Bass Guitars, and Rock and Roll. I'm not afraid of dying. Only not having lived.

Being relatively new here I didn't know your story either, Erin. I hope you don't mind me praying for you and I hope we have you around for a good while longer.

Sterling and the guys on this forum show a lot of heart and class with the way they help others. My hat's off to them.

I remember your story from two years ago. Reading your posts are always an inspiration for me. It's true BP and the Ernie Ball Music Man family are extremely kind and very generous. It makes me proud to be an owner and player of these beautiful instruments.

You have such a positive attitude. Keep on rocking!!

Keep on rockin', Erin! Lots of love and good vibes from Germany.

I often have heard that Ernie Ball -the company and Ernie in personal- like to spread some love
over the users of Ernie Ball - instruments. Always willing to help and to do some real good things.
I think that it is right to say thanks to Ernie Ball and his company.

So long - says Kong

I never had the pleasure to meet, or converse, or even be aware of what Roland 'Ernie' Ball really did for rock and roll and musicians all over the world. But if his children , Sterling, and grandchildren, Brian, Scott, and Casey. Are any indication of the kind of man he was. I'm sure he has a beautiful view from wherever his afterlife has taken him. Even before I was sick I was treated like a rockstar when dealing with customer care. When Sterling created the challenge for me, I don't think I even had 25 posts here. ( though if you look in the forum members statistics, I have been a registered user here longer than any other non employee member, that is still active ) he didn't care, he just wanted to do the right thing. I got so much support financially and personally, from soo many. My blood relatives didn't even reach out like some of you. I wept when I heard mbgreene had passed, as we had formed a bond outside of the forum during this time. I just wish I could have met him in real life. If you want to continue to support me, support the American Cancer Society, and one day we might find a cure for this thing. But everyone here new, old, bass, guitar.. Even the occasional troll.. Has my sincere love, and positive energy. Cause without that.. What's the point.

I used to get told I looked like Conan O'Brien all the time. Then all of my hair fell out. What's growing out of my head now is finally starting to turn red, but it doesn't have the personality that it used to. The pic in my avatar is my natural hair clean @ 2007. I wish it were still around.

This send shivers up and down my spine...

Rock on, Erin!
