Unsuspected guitar day ...
Well, I am very happy with my Morse, my SUB and my Axis and I did not intend to buy a new guitar.
But ... a guy was selling an Albert Lee HH for a nice price just 3 km away from my office.
Thus, like some other guys on this forum, I tried an AL and I liked it ;)

The seller was very nice and we had a long chat (he is also a long distance runner thus we had a lot to talk about). I met a nice guy and a nice guitar !
Pictures are better than word, so let me introduce my new AL in classic candy :

Damn, does the rosewood neck NOT look good on any guitar? I think the AL's are especially well fitted for RW necks, perhaps because of the solid colors.

If you can "long distance" run your way to my house, in the US from France, I'd actually GIVE you one of my most prized AL's, no joke. (Although the pond between us might present a challenge.)

oh, and congrats on the new guitar!!!

Be careful, an AL can be a strong motivation.
The distance between Paris and Phoenix is 8800 km ... I run 2500 km per year, thus just give me 4 years (and a pedal boat for crossing the ocean) and I will be in front of your door (PM your exact address please :D).
Or perhaps, I can start my race from Paris, Texas (near Dallas) and there is just 1529 km.

The rosewood neck is a great experience. It looks good and the texture of the wood is nice.

The AL HH is my favourite guitar. I think I mentioned that already :)

Great looking axe, and as has been said already the rosewood neck looks bloody lovely.

TIP: Dont do it during summer.

Thanks a lot guys !

It's funny because a few years ago, I thought that the AL had a very weird shape. Too futuristic for me !(but in fact if you look into the history of guitar, you see that some guitars from the 60's had some weird shapes also).
But only fools don't change their mind (or perhaps I was abducted and brain-washed by the ALOC !). Now I really like the shape and its originality. Besides, when you play with an AL, the guitar's body "disappears" : it's really ergonomic.
