I'd be perfectly happy if there were even more villageous looking basses in the world.

Frantically searching the meaning of "villageous" without being corrected by the search engine spell check...to no avail.

Me thinks we're dealing with the villageous idiot.

We really need more smileys on this board.

Hey, the thing DOES look like a toilet seat (I happen to like toilet seats...some of my best thinking and most pleasureable experiences (no, not that kind) have occurred while in close contact with toilet seats), but "villageous?"

WTF?

I had a rush of blood the other day and bought a Mo**lus (for the graphite neck which I can't get on a Bongo) - a super bass but yet again I put it down and picked up my Bongo and was convinced all over again.

While I'll admit that the Bongo isn't the prettiest bass in my collection (I like the Bongo 5 more ;) ) it's by far the easiest to play and the best sounding - it fits me like a glove :)

I saw footage of a gig I played last summer on the Bongo 4 and it looks damn fine :)

So at some point the Mo**lus will probably go and a Bongo single H will replace it. (I reckon a Stealth one would be nice now I've seen the pic of Jack's new baby) after that maybe an HH. ( I know where there's a Stealth HH locally but I'd prefer a single H first)

I'm not so sure it's ugly, it's just people sometimes don't embrace change that well. The sound far surpasses anything on the market and if EB didn't have to de-engineer the eq on the basses (because of all the numb nuts that can't handle it) who knows what this Ferrari of the bass world could do?

Ferrari?.......Maybe....I'd lean toward a Lambo...they are more "unconventional"...yet still special.
