I think the guy who started this thread was doing a TV ad if I'm not mistaken, not simply a print ad.

Two things in previous posts that stood out for me (not sure if I'll attribute these to the right people, but I hope I am) was

1. when NOBOZOZ said eb makes guitars for musicians, not just customers.

2. Norm said other guitars just don't excite him anymore when he goes to a music store.

Maybe take Norm's idea one step further and make an ad out of it!

A guitar player goes into a guitar store, tries a fender...ehh. Then tries a Gibson...ehh. Then tries a PRS...ehh. Only then does he pick up a EBMM and he can't put the thing down. CUT TO: closing time and they STILL can't kick the guy out of there.

Sound familiar to anyone?

Been there, done that..."Your attention please, guitar center will be closing in ten minutes"
five minutes later and an almost empty store "Guitar center will be closing in 5 minutes. All customers should finish any business."

At that point some of the employees were just kinda looking at me, enjoying their precious axis. Fortunately, I know abcouple of them by first name and they werent about to kill me.

Yeah, all the guy would have to do is follow me around with a camera in any guitar store I go into.

I'm always trying different guitars, but nothing I try ever seems to measure up. Then I go home and pick up my Axis, and play it for a couple hours.

He should have been there when I traded my Blue PRS Custom 24 for a used Purple EBMM Axis, even up. That pretty much says it all.

I don't know if this will help, but basically here is my take:

I played an EBMM Silouette once. Then I stopped playing other guitars. I have never played anything that made me want to put that guitar down. Every time I see it I have to plug it in and play.

It is that simple for me...

I hope you will keep us updated on how it's going. I would love to find out more about the process.
