Since we have some new blood on the forum (so to speak!), are any of you from the UK and where exactly?

I'm in Telford, Shropshire (Between Birmingham & Wales!!)

We should have our own UK motel jam sometime!!

So my neighbour decided to paint her house pink, what am I supposed to do about it? Or are you suggesting we turn it into a motel and have the jam there? ;)

Thanks for the info Glenn, I already knew (kind of) what a motel was and was just being an irritating smart-arse brit as we don't have anything by that name over here. :)

Take care guys.

English sense of humour gets them every time Dodgeball. My wife (who's American) constantly thinks I'm insane :D

I bet you asked your neighbour to paint it pink....

I'll be back in the UK next year - I normally live in Northern Ireland, but my girlfriend is from Nottingham, so I spend a lot of time there. I will have my new Sil Spec and old faithful EVH in my hands by then... :)

Hey Jimmyp, what you doing out in Florida?

I work for a holiday company - we meet guests at Sanford Airport and tell them what parks to go to etc, where to watch the shuttle launch from, what trips to go on, and sort out any problems they have with their hotels or whatever. I'm resort manager and have a couple of staff - at the minute all my guests are Irish, but I'll be working for a different account from September. I do seem to spend a lot of time surfing the net as well... I'm still shocked how cheap guitars and accessories are here compared to the UK - you US guys have it so easy. A set of EB 9s at home sets me back 5 pounds - over here I can get three sets for that - it's going to be tough going home when my visa runs out next year ;)

I'm jealous - I'm not back in Ireland until at least next May, but I'll happily join you for a pint or 2 anytime after that,
Dave
