Feedback

The knobs on the Bongos are all solid aluminum, as are all of our black metal knobs. On the other hand, all of the chrome knobs are brass, which is heavier than aluminum. So, compared to a chrome plated brass knob, a relatively lighter black aluminum knob could be mistaken for plastic.

That's my theory...

Well that,s painfull in its selve and I think EB should give feedback on the knobs thing and ask to correct the comments of this magazine, after all such a high end music machine does not deserve a plastic image based on nothing.

He goes gaga over the build quality and then gives it a 4... Then he penalizes the bass for HIS slap technique (I tend to hit my Bongo's vol knob when I pop the G but I am pretty sure that ain't BP's fault)

it is true his review sucked factually, and he shouldn't blame EB for his poor technique - but all in all, he said nice things.

Who am I kidding, us brits have embarrassed ourselves in front of the best guitar makers in the world.

Build quality = 5
Sound quality = 5 clearly.

Wow, I'm embarrassed now. I've had my Bongo since '04 and I've always thought the knobs were black plastic. Guess I'll go sit on the stool in the corner and wear my new hat...
