Nothing of the sort, and I apologise to Azzy if that's what she thought I was doing. I was paraphrasing opinions I've read elsewhere (and possibly partially remembered) and it probably has something to do with a now-banned contributor.

Hey Dave no need to apologise - I just felt bad for what I said in my earlier posts, and as the OP accepted the apology I didn't feel that people needed to take it any further. I know people on here have let it lie, but was just a bit miffed at other people getting uppity about it... as the guy said on TB, it's all ended happily and amicably.

No apology necessary - you'll all just have to excuse me for a ltitle while as I'm ill and need sleep but can't sleep... That and I want my Sterling..

I'm currently considering swapping the preamp in my three band Stingray because I'd prefer it to be two-band and I'd like to have a passive option with passive tone control. That would make my bass better for me. Currently it's almost perfect, but it doesn't quite do everything I want it to. Is that an attack on EBMM or on people who use the instruments?

Luckily for you, you are not doing it to my fav bass

There's a perceived cliquiness to the forum, whereby posts from UK and European contributors (or at least the male ones) tend to be ignored.

Dave, I don't think it's cliquiness at all. Remember, many of the US-based forumites (and Gav) have met in person, either at the Open House, NAMM, gigs or various mini-EBMM fests. The rest of us haven't had that experience, so it's not as easy for us to be as cosy with our imaginary internet friends as they tend to be with each other. Not a rip, just one theory.
