wow - that is a great deal !!!! - £48.50 - it is sharing a room - otherwise it's £83.20 by yerself.

That is correct..£48.50 a head sharing a room. Single supplement makes it £83.20, thats a bummer. I'm sure some would be willing to share. The rooms have a double bed and a double sofa bed. It was the FULL breakfast that swung me lol

Hey everyone, Here's a list of who's going to the bash this year. If you're not on there but have already ordered tickets do let me know. We could also take a few more if anyone else wants to come.
You'll also see that I've invited some staff from UK Musicman dealers that we do well with and several editors from the music press.

I should get tickets etc. out by the middle of May

Me me me me!!!

Hi Knuckleheads,

Sorry sorry sorry about the radio silence for the last xxx months but I'd really like to come along if you'll still have me...??? I booked to get to the bash last year but my youngest son was unwell and I didn't get there in the end.

Been trashed by work this last year (life in a chip start-up company can get a tad stressful) but now raising my head up and plugging away at the Stingray again.

And I may even be about to get a Bongo6!!!!!! Yowzah!!!

Pete: could you hold a ticket for me? Probably be just for myself.

Cheers all

Neil aka Greydad

PS I'm dual Brit/Canadian if that makes any of the non-Brits feel a bit more comfortable :)

LONDON, Australia, Switzerland... your guess is as
Hijack...Switzerland?

LOL.... yeah... after 2 months jobless in Toowoomba cause im 'overqualified' I got a message from my friend who I used to roomshare with in Bris. She has been helping out her cousin in Switzerland with their kids because the mum is 25 and has rheumatoid arthritis, but just got notice that her visa has run out and she had to be out of the country in 2 weeks... so they called up and asked if i could start early (i was going to go help out in June)....
They pay for flights, board, food and living expenses, plus my wages, so I'm on an emirates flight at 2:45am tuesday after easter. I can't take my bass with emirates so ill just have to buy a cheap classical guitar and play the four bottom strings haa haa...
i'll be working for 3 months then having 5 weeks to travel/visit london before i fly back and move to sydney and get the guts to audition for Australian Institute of Music (cause i couldn't afford ICMP in london :( ) then i can hopefully start full time study beginning of next year!!!
that's the plan lol...

ps. sorry for hijack aswell :)

edit: i will be in montreux for the famous jazz festival if anyone is coming over :D ....ps... BP you should so come visit :)

Is it grown-ups only?

Not having been to one of these before is this like a grown-ups only drunken binge fest or would a 10 year old be okay?

My eldest dabbles on drums and guitar (a bit) and we've watched tons of YouTube vids of bands together, in particular Albert Lee playing Country Boy with BP on bass. I asked my son if he'd like to see Albert play that live and he was really keen. Is this likely and would it be ok?

We (the whole family) are planning to be at the hotel so he could probably stay for a bit and then head off to bed when everything descends into chaos and mayhem.
