Sorry Tomboy but I've checked and I did not receive any e mail from you requesting tickets. You should have e mailed me when you didn't recieve them at the end of May as I could have still mailed you tickets.
It's a bit late now dude !!

Thanks Pete... maybe next year, eh?

Hi Pete,

Only just noticed your thread.
Are there any tickets left? If so, can I have three please?
Might even try to make it this year... bloody work threw one at me last year but the two lads in the band had a great day!!

Ooh, and make sure there's a 25th HS bass in trans red. I'll bring lots of money!!!

Thanks again,

Jamie.

Tomboy - BL posted here numerous times updating about when tickets were being sent out. There were even tickets left which BL advertised. If you'd paid a £100 per ticket I might see the reason for posts with angry faces, and taking public pot-shots at Pete, but jeez, this was an unbelievable freebie. Learn some manners eh?

Ricman, I think you've got me wrong.
I wasn't having a 'pop' at Pete in public. Pete and I have conversed a few times on here both publically and via PM and I have the utmost respect for him. He was a star last year with the tickets and free pics etc and I was just surprised that my 'promised' tickets never showed... that was all.
Contrary to popular belief, I do not spend 24/7 on here and rarely venture outside the bass forum so I wouldn't have picked up on this thread and the notifications.
It was my bad... I missed the updates... I'm over it... no big deal. My last comment to Pete on here was very much tongue-in-cheek and I believe he has taken it that way

I think you have read too much into my original post. My manners are fine thank you, but I pm you if I need some more lessons.;)

Ok tomboy - thanks for the explanation. I honestly thought your posts were harsh on Pete, who I'm sure we both value in the UK, but if it was tongue in cheek then I obviously didn't get it. Do PM me for manners lessons - being from Yorkshire you can rest assured I am blessed with tact and diplomacy!!!

You are obviously a fantastic bloke like myself.

Not another one! they are breeding! We'll have to get a couple more flat caps for next year, especially if i bring my mate from Chesterfield, maybe he'll bring his ferrets and whippets, maybe a pigeon or two too!

That is as insulting as calling someone from Sunderland a Geordie!

List has started early for Knucklehead Duels for next year.

Accusing someone of being from Yorkshire when they're not, is pretty unfair in my opinion. Wouldn't wish that on a chap!!!

I just think you want to get on the list again because you really like the ferret and flat cap you won at the Bash, and you really want to be from Yorkshire.

I bet you put the cap on at weekends and walk round town saying things like "Ey'up"-(Hello), "Eee By Gum"-(Oh dear me) and "Oreight mate, are tha gooin' on"-(Hello, how are you today).

I think you'll find that Jimmy did rather well when educating all Knuckleheads in a special edition of "Yorkshire for Beginners" - (See from 6.30) [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aMaVwralsnU"]YouTube - 2009BASH[/ame]

We had a few by then, is it 2010 yet???
