Ahem.....!

Is there room for the overseas glitterati?

I've been meaning to go visit some old friends in the UK.

And this might just be a cool side trip!

Aww BP I'm sorry! It's not deliberate - got lots of issues with work at the moment and a potential new job move to think about - lots on at the moment. It is nice to be back though - and catch up with everything that's gone on recently :)

Ritchie - hope you can come! Would be lovely to meet up :D

Hi,
urm...
Whats the UK Knucklehead Bash??

Sterling Ball CEO of EB (AKA Big Poppa) has invited Knuckleheads (EB Forum members from anywhere in the world) to a few Bashes (parties) held in the States over the last couple of years.

One was at the EB guitar factory in Slo and another was in the Desert last year. (have a search on desert bash)

He was also involved in 50th B'day party celebrations for one of the Bass moderators Bovinehost.

Blind Lemon (the guy in the first post) is part of Strings n Things - the UK EB distributor, and is inviting knuckeheads to a British Bash and has offered Free grub (jellied eels , faggots, Sea weed, Spotted Dick, Clarks Pies, only joking!) ;) and some free drinks.
There is a possibility that EB staff from the States may come over.

It's a chance for guys in Europe to get together and have a "Bash" and talk EB guitars.

Edit
we are all looking forward to seeing the new straplocks !! ;)

By the way guys I'm trying to sort out a deal with one of the hotels to get us a group rate for those that want to stay over. Just give me a few days to make some enquiries.

Cheers,
BL

For all those of you that wanted to stay the night of the bash the cheapest rate I could get for hotels on site is at the Premier Travel Inn and it's £92 for the room.
This is cheaper than all the others that were £130 +
If you are prepared to travel then I'm sure you will find cheaper elswhere.

Otherwise here is the e mail address and please mention Strings and Things and the contact is Aiko Patmore or telephone 0870 238 3322

My last day of school is the 13th! So I should be able to make it. Woo Hoo. What would be an affordable place to stay in the area for the night? And what's the easiest way to get to the LIMS from King's X station?
