Oh my.
Looks like I'm going to have to order my second new bass ever to go with the Buttercream Sterling H/S.

I just forwarded this to my wife...just so she knows what's coming. I'll leave this forum post up on my computer for the rest of the year and just refresh it from here on out.

BP, thanks for sharing, these kind of development details that are just so personal and amazing. Man you just speak to me in such a cool way.

I'm ready to move forward based on your description of the tone and vibe you're going for.

Cheers,
MK

I think I'm the second-closest knucklehead to Pete's shop.

That could be a really good thing, assuming that it might be the location of one of said T-ware parties and further assuming that somebody might let me know about it.

I promise to leave the turkey at home.

Really.

I was glad to read Pete's name on that short list since he's so close by. :D

Great read. I wanted to see where this was going before posting.

Exciting times ladies and gents. The best part about all this to me is BP's excitement. I love it when he gets a revved up and puts some fire and passion into the tools we use. We have the priviledge to see and be a part of what is going on here. That is always the cool thing for me. I have seen some ideas come and go...but.. the end result is a kick ass bass or guitar!

I can't wait to see the final product. I could care less about the body shape...I want to feel and listen to the new designs and features.

Thanks Pops, Dudley, Brian, Scott, Drew and all at EBMM. I appreciate you letting us into your world with these sneak peaks.

Interesting read in TB about this bass.

You got the usual naysayers who probably think that we should all still play J and P basses, those who cannot fathom a bass outside of what they normally accept as a "bass" and then you even have the ones who lack the sense to read the posts first before commenting on the body shape.
