Oh HELL yes. I absolutely LOVE single cuts, but it never even crossed my mind that this new bass would be one. That is SO cool looking. I was already stoked about the new bass, but only now am I truly impatient (impatience = GAS). This is good news!

So this is the Baxiss then? :p

Some thoughts: There's an extra knob for what? Balance? That's ok on the Bongo when you have 2 pickups, but there's 3 pickups with four coils here!

Also, That humbucker seems placed like the one on the Bongo, not like the Stingray

Finally! I could hardly breathe!

It looks even better all proto-d up than in the engineering drawings. I love the nod to the Axis and the headstock looks fab.

Nice work, BP, and what a team!

There's something about the protos that just sits right. Loving the design and features so far!

I've been MM-less for far too long.

I hope this bass isnt a one year thing only. It looks really interesting. Passive mms have a distinct tone... MXPX anyone...

I personally loved it with the albert lee body shape. Im not feeling the axis. But itll probably grow on me. Binding on an instrument like that would be mind boggling but IM NEVER dissapointed by the stuff ernie ball puts out... Ill just sit and wait it out.

Wow, I'm really digging that...perfect blend of new and vintage styling. I like the 3-pickup option, but I'm picturing an HS 5er for myself. I really like the tuners and think that the headstock on the 5er will be perfect for my taste.

Wait...no pickguard?

Oh, yeah! And I like the new design a lot. If it will be well balanced (and definitely it will - this headstock wasn't shrinked for nothing) I will consider geting one SSS....

Wowzie!

I'm floored! I've always liked the Axis shape, and to get a chance to have the bass?!? This is gonna kill on so many levels.

Will the bass have the exact neck profile of the Sterling 4?

BTW, Sterling Silver would be a good name. :D

It seems like an early Christmas.
