It's funny because I was thinking about it today (while in jury duty ), someday there's gonna be another EB Party and little Tom is gonna be there. I'll be ballin' like a little girl.
As I read this, my eyes well up with tears of joy for you. I think about my own young children and what effect all this you have gone through has had on you and yours.
I say a prayer of thanksgiving and well-wishing for you and yours. Thanks so much for this update.
Well, things are looking mighty good for us and Tom right now, his recovery so far after almost 4 weeks since the transplant has been excellent, we are amazed at his rate of progress. He is super happy and a joy to look after, no more stressing when we're with him. The doctors have told us we can take him home on Monday, HOORAY HOORAY HOORAY! That sure seems like the end of the hard part, our 4 months at the hospital can be over, though we have to go back twice a week for the next 12 months or various tests! We just cant believe all that has transpired over the months, what a ride. I'm just over the moon that i'm still a dad, and i get to be one for many years to come.
We cant wait to finally walk through our front door with Tom and know he is home to stay. Pretty awesome day today- Toms good news plus BFR AL pics!
