Guys you are all great!

We just got home from spending the day with little Tom, pretty weird day actually! We are so drained and tired, but just so happy. Tom is going really well so far, they woke him up at lunchtime and he opened his eyes properly for the first time in 12 days, he is pretty out of it but as the day progressed he started to focus more. He still has a whopping big oxygen tube in his nose, going down his trachea, so he cant breath yet on his own or swallow etc, but tomorrow they will attempt to remove it and see how he goes, as the x rays showed his lungs are looking pretty good and able to cope soon with breathing. So good news so far, but we fully know it will go up and down over the next little while, but we are confident for now.

Great news Rob - I was in Town early this morning - we have a real old church in the centre - 12 Century. It was open and the light (candles) were sureal glowing in the gloom of the morning. Kinda felt drawn in to say some words for the little fella - thanks for the update - it's 10:00 AM here in the UK, I guess you can't be far off Xmas day in your neck of the woods?

Rob, that's great news.

I'm sat here with little B on my knee on Christmas morning and that's the best present I could have wished for.

All the best from us.

Love for your children is second to none. All I think about everyday, are my children. (Tears just started to flow Rob).............My inlaws are looking at me right now like I have lost my mind...I don't care.........I love my kids much more than this crazy business or anything else on this planet for that matter. It is your hope and the little mans need too love you that will make things good, and I really wish that on you.
See u sometime if I get to A-land....gotta go

My son was in for a week after he was born. He was purple when I first saw him, and he stayed that way for a little while. He ended up being very, very fine, and I know by the pic that your little Tom will also be fine.
