I've been looking at the same pics, options, and all on the MusicMan website for two freaking years. Please update it. Particularly the build your instrument section. I'd really appreciate it.

Just to let you all know we are working on a new website, including a redesign of Music Man Online. It is coming along nicely, but as they say "you can't rush art". The instrument builder will definitely be part of the redesign but it has it's own unique challenges. Thanks for your patience.

We have the updated version of vBulletin but haven't installed it as of yet...expect an announcement on that soon.

We're all hoping for updates. The Bongo Instrument Builder has been much discussed and hoped for.

As far as history goes, RTrussbroken has a lot of technical information and photos and so on, even from the pre-EB period. Even from the company, I hear there wasn't great documentation about the Leo era, pre-1980 or so. We've sure hashed around about those preamps Leo tinkered with on what seems to have been a daily basis......

So history is sketchy on the EBMM site, and somewhat more fleshed out on Gavin's site, especially if what you're looking for are technical details of a certain period. "What bridge is this?" He can probably help you out.

The Stingray guitars were never very popular. Back in the late 70s, I remember seeing exactly ONE. You'd be hard pressed to find enough interest on those to generate an entire website about them.

There are MM amp groupies out there, though.

I've tried to gather up details on the Bongo Saga over on my website. We all want more information than we usually have; it's normal. This is what the forum here is really good for - the exchange of information. (Which is why I get so cranky when it becomes third grade recess.)

Anyway, if we keep working on it, we'll eventually have a lot more information....oh hell, we already know a lot more than we did before joining up here, don't we?

And the cost is relatively inexpensive, don't you think?
